Does Extraterrestrial Life Really Exist? Humans have been puzzled by this for decades, and according to scientists, this may eventually become a reality. Astronomers discovered that there may be life on Venus. Does this mean that we will eventually meet aliens? Can this help us discover other aliens? What does this discovery mean to us? Venus may not be as strange as you think. This planet is roughly the same size as Earth and its gravity is 91% that of Earth. We always say that Mars is a potential home for humanity, but we must not exclude Venus. If there is life on this planet, will this speed up our process of making it a new home? But first, let's see why scientists believe that there may be life on Venus. All this has to do with phosphine. This is a colorless, flammable, and explosive gas, and it is also very smelly. It smells like a mixture of garlic and rotten fish. This gas can be found on the earth and is dangerous to anything that uses oxygen to survive. It was used as a chemical weapon during World War I, made from culinary methamphetamine. This gas is not very pleasant and can be very deadly. But now astronomers have discovered that phosphine can exist in the atmosphere of Venus. At first glance, this appears to be a terrible thing, because this gas will kill anything that breathes oxygen. But this does not mean that life cannot exist. Just because something doesn't need oxygen doesn't mean it's completely lifeless. There may be anaerobic bacteria in the phosphine cloud of Venus. They are creatures that can survive without oxygen. They can live on Venus and produce this phosphine gas. Note that all of these have yet to be fully verified. But astronomers have been monitoring Venus for most of 2020, and this is what they think is a discovery. So, if this kind of extraterrestrial life really exists on Venus, what does it mean to us humans? When you first heard about alien life, you might think that the heads of Martians are so big that we can shake hands. But for these life forms on Venus, this is impossible. Just like now, we cannot see any life on Venus with our naked eyes. They are both bacteria and microorganisms. All potential phosphine on the planet makes human visits to Venus more dangerous than ever. So will we encounter this lifestyle soon? maybe not. Is this discovery still incredibly exciting? Absolutely! Of course, it's frustrating that we haven't found a Martian yet, but try not to get too disappointed. As we discover potential alien life, we must remember to broaden our thinking about what these alien life forms are. They don't necessarily have to be two- or four-legged things that humans can interact with. The possibilities for potential alien life are endless, we can't even imagine it. Who knows what this current way of life will become. It may be small at first, but millions of years later, we can see Venus flourishing on a planet full of organic life. Life on Venus is not limited to organisms living in phosphine gas. Experts believe that due to all the extreme climates on the earth, life can form almost anywhere. This also applies to the rest of the solar system. As scientists discover potential life on Venus, who knows what else is there? Researchers will have to continue to search for answers.
